Background Information and Notes[]
- This episode concluded a two-part crossover event, which started with the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Return Of The Prodigal Son".
- All of the Stabler children return, with Maureen and Elizabeth making their first appearances since the eighth season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Eli making his first appearance since season 12 of SVU.
- Actresses Autumn Mirassou and Kaitlyn Davidson take over the roles of Maureen and Elizabeth from actresses Erin Broderick and Patricia Cook respectively.
- During the episode's initial airing, the intro quote is cut, likely to make the transition from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit more seamless. The opening monologue was reinstated when the episode was uploaded to Hulu and Peacock. The theme song lacked pictures of the cast members and are not shown next to their names except for Elliot Stabler.
- Elliot gives Olivia a letter which was meant to be a speech he was going to give during her award ceremony that was meant to take place during "Return Of The Prodigal Son". They don't discuss it until the season 2 episode "The Outlaw Eddie Wagner".
- This marks the first time Elliot sees Noah Porter-Benson, Benson's son. They don't have a formal meeting until the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Did You Believe in Miracles?".
- Elliot decides to stay in New York rather than return to Rome because of Kathy's memory.
