William Hendry was a corrupt prison warden who embezzled money from his workplace.

History

In order to cover his tracks, Hendry hid the money he embezzled under a bank account on his wife's name with her not knowing anything about it. When his wife wanted to open a business and needed credit for that, he realized the bank would subsequently investigate her finances, thus exposing the fake bank account. To prevent this, Hendry hired a prisoner, Vic Bowman, to kill her, but he refused and double-crossed him while also telling his wife what had happened. This caused them to flee together from him.

Ten years later, she was about to reappear again, and he tried everything to maintain appearances and cover up what he did, to the extent of framing Bowman for crimes he did not commit. However, the Major Case Squad saw through him and found out the truth. After clarifying to his wife why he intended to murder her, they arrested Hendry for conspiracy to commit murder.
