Wyatt Morris is a child who was kidnapped by Lewis Hodda.

History[]

Wyatt's parents were divorced and didn't get along, often fighting which upset Wyatt who wanted his father to come home. When his father David picked him up to take him to a baseball game, his mother Laurie yelled at David for being late. As Wyatt and David walked down the street, David made a smart comment saying his mother seemed grouchy. Wyatt asked his father when he was coming home, which saddened David. At the subway station, Hodda distracted David and kidnapped Wyatt, dragging him onto a train which then departed. Hodda then took Wyatt to a shop and bought blonde hair dye so he could dye Wyatt's hair. He then took Wyatt to an abandoned warehouse and locked him in a room so he couldn't get out. Eventually, Hodda was arrested and confessed to kidnapping Wyatt. The Special Victims Unit went to the abandoned warehouse, where Benson heard Wyatt crying in a room. She opened the door and found Wyatt frightened. She scooped up Wyatt in her arms, comforting him. Benson and Amaro then reunited Wyatt with Laurie and David. (SVU: "Manhattan Vigil")

Three years later, Benson and Barba ask Laurie if Wyatt can testify about the events that happened when Hodda kidnapped him. However, Laurie declined stating that Wyatt was still deeply traumatized by what he went through and that she didn't want to risk traumatizing him further. A few days later, when it looked like Hodda was going to get away with all his crimes, Laurie met Delores Rodriguez at a candlelit vigil for her son Hector who was murdered by Hodda and told her that Wyatt would testify against Hodda to help incarcerate him.
