Summary[]
After a teenager's quinceañera turns deadly, Detectives Jaruszalski and Winters track down a lead to a marijuana crop and the boy who is guarding it. Unfortunately, this brings them to the attention of the man who owns the field with fatal consequences.
Meanwhile, DDAs Price and Morales walk the line between prosecutor and statesman duties when they are asked to worry about the Mexican government's sensitivities above their case needs, which pushes a fed-up Morales into an unexpected decision.

Background Information and notes[]
- The opening narration adds the phrase "In the City of Los Angeles" and continues with the original Law & Order open. Previously, the opening narration was the same as the original Law & Order.
- This episode is the last canonical appearance of Rex Winters and Evelyn Price (they appear in later episodes this season, but they were produced before their actors had left the show).
- Morales decides leave the DAs office and go back to the LAPD and become a detective once again, mentioning that he had been cop twelve years ago. He is partnered with Jaruszalski in the next episode "Silver Lake".
